While no glove is puncture proof, new TurtleSkin gloves offer a high level of needle and cut resistance in everyday working gloves. This patented technology is made from a tight weave of Kevlar, creating a tough but flexible fabric. Sewn into the palm, this new material is designed to provide over seven times the puncture resistance and 11 times the abrasion resistance of similar weight leather gloves. The gloves are lightweight, with the heaviest pair weighing less than 4 oz. All four styles of gloves can be both machine-washed or steam autoclaved.
