PureSafety Releases Next Generation Of Online Courseware And New Content Editing Tool

Nashville, TN - PureSafety, the leading provider of online safety training and risk management software solutions, recently announced the release of its next generation suite of online workplace safety and compliance courses and a new self-service Content Editing System (CES). The fifth generation of PureSafety's award-winning, Flash-based courseware is designed to improve employee learning and retention through rich multimedia features, including:

  • Intuitive course navigation and bookmarking
  • High-quality course narration, music and text
  • Superior high-resolution graphics, 3D animation and illustrations
  • Challenging learning activities, brainteasers and post-tests designed to reinforce and evaluate employee knowledge

"Training is the cornerstone of our safety and risk management solutions," stated William A. Grana, Jr., PureSafety's President and CEO. "Our innovative new courseware and CES are yet another example of our vision and commitment to improve the quality and breadth of our offering, while providing the highest level of flexibility and value to our customers."

PureSafety's courses have always been customizable by the company's experienced, in-house Content Development Team. They are equipped to modify anything a customer sees and hears in a course, including corporate branding and colors; photos/illustrations; slide text; course narration; language; learning activities and brainteasers. The latest generation of courseware also empowers PureSafety clients to customize courses directly with PureSafety's revolutionary, web-based CES. The new CES allows customers to seamlessly customize, manage and deploy PureSafety's Flash-based courses in a fraction of the time required by traditional development environments.

The PureSafety CES delivers a fully hosted, enterprise-level development environment that makes modifying courses simple and cost-effective. The intuitive user interface provides easy point-and-click/drag-and-drop course interaction; a built-in Digital Resource Library; flexible development methodology; a built-in versioning system; and a preview function that lets customers review courses exactly as learners will experience them before they are launched in an AICC/SCORM-conformant format. Seasoned Flash developers, as well as those with limited or no development experience, will appreciate the easy-to-use, robust features and added power and speed the CES puts at their fingertips.

"We maintain our industry leadership by continuously raising the bar on course quality, consistency and interactivity, which delivers bottom-line benefits to our customers," stated Mike Kroll, Senior Vice President of Sales at PureSafety. "With the addition of the new CES, our customers are empowered to edit our courseware themselves, which can save them a significant amount of time and money."
