Koehler - Bright Star Inc. is pleased to introduce the addition of RESPONDER to its Koehler line of portable, industrial lighting. This revolutionary personal light has a patent pending design that features an interchangeable power system. This allows the light to be powered by either a Ni-Cad rechargeable battery pack or 4 C-cell alkaline batteries. The rechargeable battery pack provides 2 hours of burn time, while Alkaline batteries will provide up to 5 hours of brightness.

The Quick Charger (AC and DC versions available), restores the rechargeable pack in one-hour and features a one-hand release. The charger has been designed to recognize the rechargeable battery pack, therefore, if the light is put into the charger while loaded with Alkaline batteries, no harm will come to the QuickCharger or the RESPONDER unit.

The RESPONDER features an over-sized push button switch, super-bright Halogen bulb and two spare bulb holders. The light also includes a stainless steel coat clip and split ring.

The first RESPONDER model is UL approved for use in Division 2 and 1 hazardous locations.
