Draeger Safety, Inc. Personal Safety System 100 SCBA is designed to provide a tailor-made fit to the SCBA wearer reducing the physical stress on the users back and spine. It is designed with a three position adjustable backplate and is curved slightly and padded for comfort and to ensure all the wieght is supported by the user's center of gravity. The waistbelt also has a three-in. slide that allows for the extension of the spine when the wearer bends forward. This enables the unit to remain seated on the hips durin gmovement. Side to side movement is possible due to the two piece construction.
