Localization engineering
Specializing in multi-language, multi-platform projects, ForeignExchange's localization engineers ensure that all localized software is adapted to client specifications.
ForeignExchange localization engineers use a wide variety of localization applications, compilers, and tools to support Windows, UNIX, client/server, MacOS, as well as proprietary environments

Production
What users see on the computer screen is often the most important—and most overlooked—aspect of localization. All icons, commands and help buttons must be clearly understood (visually and textually) by the target market.
ForeignExchange production specialists make sure that all embedded graphics, image maps, and screen captures are as attractive and effective in the localized applications as in the domestic release.

Verification
ForeignExchange offers extensive localization testing, QA, and validation services across all major platforms. Localization testing generally falls into two stages:
Functionality testing
ForeignExchange localization engineers systematically validate each feature by following a suite of validation and verification procedures. In addition, they review the compiled software for on-screen alignment, sizing, and positioning and ensure proper functionality, especially in the areas of error handling, hotkeys, and help context. Testers work with the client's localization and QA teams to define the set of test cases that are appropriate to run with the localized versions of the product.
Linguistic testing
Working side-by-side with engineers, ForeignExchange linguistic QA personnel review the entire foreign-language software to ensure the product meets local standards. The localized interface is analyzed for linguistic omissions or additions, truncated text, terminology adherence, as well as consistency with the documentation and online help.
