Stair Crossover Systems

This Stair Crossover System is one solution for safe and easy passage over long conveyor lines. The stair and platform system is literally a "bridge" over the line, allowing passage over the conveyor while production continues to run. The alternating tread design provides great tread depth, and the close-fitting handrails aid in carrying items up and over the conveyor line. I addition, the stairs are equipped with a padded central stringer, which eliminates the likelihood of hitting the nosing of a tread in the event of a fall.

This system allows workers to access machinery safely and efficiently while using minimal floor space. The stairs and platform are custom built to meet the user's height, material and finish requirements. The platforms range in size beginning with 24 /24 in. and lengthening in 6 in. increments, up to 96 in. for steel and 72 in. for aluminum. In addition, the platforms can be designed to exit in any direction.
