Teknor Chemicals
Teknor Apex has two manufacturing plants strategically located to serve our customers. The Hebronville plant in Attleboro, MA provides easy access to customers in New England, New Jersey, New York and the entire Northeast.
Haywood Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Teknor Apex, is located in Brownsville, TN. Haywood is centrally located for raw material transportation from the Gulf Coast and services customers across the country.
Both plants are designed to produce a wide variety of esters in medium to large quantities. Teknor Apex's proprietary technology has made it a leader in the toll manufacture of plasticizers such as trimellitates, adipates, phthalates, sebacates and azelates. In addition, we have the capability to produce organic acid esters, food grade esters, polyester polyols, and low to medium molecular weight polyesters.
We have designed our plants for maximum flexibility to meet the varying demands of the new product life cycle. Our reactors range in size from 1000 gallons up to 15,000 gallons which allows us to produce trial materials as well as scale up to commercial quantities. Our large reactors allow us to produce larger quantities of material at competitive costs.
Teknor Apex has a state-of-the-art analytical testing lab which also houses our Chemicals Division Research and Development Laboratory. Our chemists have over 40 years experience in developing and synthesizing products for the plastics industry. In addition, our expertise in the compounding of various resins provides our customers with easy access to application information. It allows Teknor Apex to uniquely supply products which have been tested and specified to meet the demands of the end use market.
