Loctite the First to Implement TDS Module
Albany, NY – The Wercs, Ltd., the global leader in Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Software, today announced that Henkel Loctite Corporation, the world market leader in industrial adhesives and surface technologies, is in the process of implementing an online Technical Data Sheet management software, designed by The Wercs, Ltd.
WercsTDS, the Technical Data Sheet software module created by The Wercs, Ltd., serves as the central, Global master for over 2500 Technical Data Sheets servicing Loctite business units and Customers Worldwide. The web-based module will serve as the Loctite standard for creating, managing, and deploying Technical Data Sheets on an enterprise level. The web-based module will replace previous word processing programs with a central Global database system.
Because the Technical Data Sheet module is web based, Henkel Loctite now has Worldwide control, the ability to manage documents dynamically with improved efficiencies, and make Technical Data Sheets available 24/7/365 throughout the World to both Business units and Customers. The new functionality uses advanced database application, which allows for multivariate comparison of Technical Data Sheets. Other attributes include: advanced graphing and multi-lingual functionality, sophisticated query tools and ease of use. In addition, the ability to download Technical Data Sheets to a handheld PDA is accomplished through the PocketWERCS module. This complimentary functionality allows field personnel remote access to Technical Data Sheets.
