The menu-driven display screen of the Spot D Tek IV eliminates the need for hidden codes or symbols. The system's backlit custom LCD can be used in all weather conditions. An automatic drill head directional compass speeds tracking by single peak locating and front-rear-arrow guidance. The left/right guidance system can be used as a target for road and creek crossings or as a walk over unit for accurate out front locating.

This unit offers depth, steering and drill information to 80°+ with an extended range probe, as well as built-in multiple high gain antennas and filtering to reduce signal to noise ratios. The built-in multiple channel remote transmitter has a 2500+-ft range. Single point calibration enables this unit capable of dual frequency pipe and cable locator. A self-diagnostics is incorporated to speed repairs minimize maintenance.
