360training.com Reinstated As An OSHA-Authorized Outreach Online Training Provider
OSHACampus.com and 360training.com, the largest provider of OSHA outreach training programs announces the availability of OSHA authorized 10 and 30 hour construction and general safety courses through online delivery
Austin, TX (PRWEB) - 360training.com is pleased to announce the return of online 10-hour construction safety, 10-hour general safety, 30-hour construction safety and 30-hour general safety training courses offered through 360training.com and its environmental health and safety training branded site, OSHAcampus.com.
360training.com was among the first training providers to offer OSHA Outreach Training online, and grew to be one of the largest providers of online OSHA Outreach Training, training tens of thousands of workers each year. In 2011 OSHA asked all online training providers and those wishing to become training providers to apply for continued authorization. In January 2012, 360training.com was notified that it was no longer an authorized provider. Believing there to be irregularities in the selection process, 360training.com enlisted the help of the courts to determine if OSHA had correctly applied its selection criteria. The Federal Court of Claims ruled in 360training.com’s favor, citing critical flaws in the selection process and requiring OSHA to take corrective action.
360training.com recently received a letter from the Directorate of Training and Education at the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) stating that 360training.com has been reinstated as an OSHA Outreach online provider. The courses being offered have been reviewed and accepted by OSHA and completion of the OSHA Outreach 10/30-hour course(s) will result in a Department of Labor wallet card being issued in 4-6 weeks.
“Our outcome objective is the same as OSHA and our actions are aligned with the mission of vision of OSHA - to save lives and prevent workplace injuries. In 1970, 38 workers were killed on the job every day in America; now this number has been reduced to thirteen. We believe our OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA-30 hour online programs contribute to the reduction in fatalities”, said Ed Sattar, CEO of 360training.com.
In addition to offering OSHA10/30 Outreach courses, 360training.com will continue to market its private-label branded 10 and 30-hour safety certification courses through OSHAcampus.com, which result in the student receiving an OSHAcampus.com wallet card within 1-2 weeks. These courses are based on OSHA standards and offer the same high-quality training that 360training has been providing under the OSHA Outreach program. In some cases certain job sites will require proof of safety training that is evidenced by a DOL Card. Workers should check with their employers to determine if a DOL Card is required.
The courses are available for purchase immediately at OSHAcampus.com and 360training.com.
