The Victim Locator Kit includes the company's Rescue Probe, a two-way voice communication device for locating and communicating with victims of a structural collapse.
The probe is a sensitive microphone and speaker encased in a rugged stainless steel housing, sized to fit through two inch breaching holes. Standard threaded couplers allow the probe to be attached to off the shelf PVC pipe for horizontal probing or manipulation through rubble, or lowered vertically into voids.
The kit is lightweight, portable, self-powered and can be operated by a single rescuer. Multiple kits can be deployed simultaneously on the same site without interfering with each other. On location of a victim, two-way voice communication is established immediately.
