About Work-Loss Data Institute:

Work-Loss Data Institute (WLDI) is an independent data base company dedicated to providing information which will improve the efficiency of the U.S. workforce and maximize the satisfaction of American workers. The development of the Employer Health Register (EHR) - a comprehensive data base tool to be used by employers seeking information on alternative programs designed to enhance and maximize employee performance - signifies a quantum leap for Work-Loss Data Institute in fulfilling its mission, outlined when the company was formed nearly 6 years ago: To create, maintain and market information data bases to be used to implement and/or set standards for managing workforce productivity, with ongoing focus on healthcare cost containment.

In addition to Employer Health Register, WLDI created Official Disability Guidelines (ODG), which is now in its Fifth Anniversary Edition. ODG 2000 provides disability duration norms for every illness and injury, based on the largest experience data base available - over 3 million cases. Thousands of employers are saving millions of dollars by using ODG 's "Best Practice" Guidelines to help get employees back to work sooner. Because the data is experience based, it is fair to employees and defensible by employers. Official Disability Guidelines is available as a 1,200-page book, a CD-ROM, or an abbreviated Top 200 Conditions version.
